Academic Achievements

Early Release Pass from Advocacy: granted to all students who earn a 3.0 or higher or improve their GPA by 0.5 for each semester

Certificates: granted each semester for 

        Cum Laude: 3.0 -- 3.49 GPA

        Magna Cum Laude: 3.5 -- 3.79 GPA

        Summa Cum Laude: 3.8 – 4.0 GPA

Service Bar: granted for each semester a student earns a 3.5 or higher 

MC Academic Block Letter: granted after a student has earned a 3.5 for two consecutive semesters

Lamp of Knowledge Pin: granted after a student has earned an MC Block Letter and maintains a GPA of 3.5 or higher for two consecutive semesters

AP Excellence Patch: granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams
