Trained to address contemporary counseling issues such as anger management, motivation, trauma, bullying, grief, relational aggression
Have combined experience of 35+ years and one counselor is a Certified Drug and Alcohol counselor addresses each student and his parent in the eighth grade focusing on graduation requirements, Career Pathways choices and college and vocational interests. Each subsequent year MCHS gives each student a Student Handbook, as well as the MCHS Course Description Book with an individual counseling appointment.
MCHS also has a Peer Resources Program, which involves students as mentors, leaders, tutors, and counselors for their peers
