The PSAT/NMSQT will be offered on Saturday, October 18th at MCHS. Juniors will be allowed to sign up first, and if there are openings available, Sophomores may also take the exam. Tickets will go on sale in the Business Office at the beginning of October; approximate cost is $22. Taken as a Junior, this test qualifies students for the National Merit Scholarship. Students should watch for the announcements regarding cost, testing rooms, etc. as the testing date draws near. | 10/19/2008 |

Maria Carrillo’s Biology and Life Skills curricula include examining the issues of human reproduction, family planning, birth control and sexually transmitted diseases. Materials used in these areas of study are available at school for parent review. Please telephone your student’s Biology or Life Skills teacher to make an appointment for this review.
