Chemistry is a laboratory science course that examines a variety of topics related to general chemistry including elements and the periodic table, atomic structure, bonding, matter and energy, nomenclature, balancing equations, gas laws, heat contents, equilibrium, acids and bases, and nuclear chemistry.
Two levels of chemistry are offered at MCHS:
- Advanced Placement Chemistry
- Academic Chemistry
