Biology is a laboratory science class that covers a variety of life science topics including biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, evolution, ecology, physiology, and science progress and investigation.
Several levels of biology are offered at MCHS:
- Advanced Placement Biology
- Honors Biology
- Academic Biology
- Biology
- Sheltered Biology (alternates years with Sheltered Physical Science)
All levels of biology fulfill SRCS graduation requirements, but not all are college preparatory. In addition, each level has its own prerequisites. See course descriptions for detail.
